Our Mission
The purpose of the Exeter Historical Society is to operate as a non-profit organization that cultivates social interaction and friendship among its members and community; to further the interest and education in the study of local history; to collect, preserve and display data, articles, and objects touching the history of Exeter, Maine; and to answer requests for research assistance from individuals or organizations pertaining to Exeter’s history.

Meetings

EHS meetings are scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm (unless otherwise stated). They are held in the EHS room located in the Exeter Town Office as 1221 Stetson Road in Exeter.
