The Golden Age of Postcards

On Saturday, March 28, 2026 EHS hosted our last Cabin Fever event for the season. Kevin Johnson from the Penobscot Marine Museum taught us the history behind the Eastern Illustrating & Publishing Company, and showed us a part of their collection of images (total is 500,000+) that included Exeter and surrounding towns. We hope that throughout these three events we've hosted since January our guest learned new information and felt welcomed and happy to partake in our community functions. Who knows what we'll come up with next, so stay tuned! Thanks again to everyone who has joined us over the last three months to help keep history alive.
